About Zimbabwe Tobacco Seed Association Zimbabwe Tobacco Seed Association has been producing top quality seed for over 50 years. The Association started with a mandate from Government to be the multiplier of tobacco seed varieties developed by the Zimbabwe Tobacco Research Board. ZTSA grows both Virginia Flue Cured and Burley tobacco seed. ZTSA adheres to the highest international seed production standards. ZTSA seed is grown on small, isolated plots under strictly controlled conditions. Our seed plots are continually inspected by Government Certified Inspectors. All seed is tested for germination and purity by the Seed Services Department of the Ministry of Agriculture. ZTSA provides farmers with high integrity seed grown in a variety of areas. This ensures that the seed is suited to the Farmer’s growing conditions. By using ZTSA seed, farmers are able to maximize their yields and profits by choosing seed suited to their soils and the ripening rates of their area. ZTSA offers support and training to farmers at regular field days and site visits. We supply farmers with the educational tools, information and knowledge they need through our agronomy experts. ZTSA works closely with AGRITEX and the Tobacco Trade to extend farmer support. Zimbabwe Tobacco Seed Association supplies the local market and the region.
